It’s British Beef Week and we are proud to serve only home grown, outdoor reared beef from our supplier Aubrey Allen (by Royal Appointment). Our dry-aged beef is reared on clean, green Cornish pastures and the meat is dry aged to mature and intensify the flavour. Aubrey Allen, a family butcher since 1933, has full traceability on all beef from ‘gate to plate’ and sets out the highest welfare and environment standards.
We take beef from ‘suckler herds’, cattle specifically bred for beef, where calves are able to run together, suckle as nature intended and allowed to mature slowly and naturally, ultimately giving a greater depth of flavour that you can really taste.
