Behind the Scenes – August Set Menu Shoot

On Monday we went to our gorgeous brasserie in Beaconsfield to photograph a range of the delicious new dishes, ahead of our August set menu change today.

We were greeted by the lovely Claudia & made to feel right at home. With a cosy bar area, and light and airy dining area, Brasserie Blanc Beaconsfield is the perfect spot for a mid-morning cup of coffee & a slice of homemade cake, a light lunch or an indulgent afternoon tea, which they serve everyday from 12noon to 5pm (2 hours notice required).

After a little planning & a cuppa we got to work. A beautiful marble table next to the window made the ideal backdrop for the shoot.

Our goal was to make the dishes look as good as they taste, which we couldn’t have done without Shanti; Beaconsfield’s Head Chef and Clive; our Executive Chef Director. Together they produced mouthwatering plates of food, which photographed like a dream!

Also a special thank you to the lovely guests sitting at the table next to us, who just happened to be a proffessional photographer and was very generous with her tips & advice.
