Brasserie Blanc Mulled Wine How To Video

Follow our quick and easy how to video for this seasonal mulled wine recipe from Brasserie Blanc.

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 litre red wine
  • 200ml orange juice
  • 200ml apple juice
  • 30ml brandy
  • 40g caster sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise – whole
  • 2 cardamom pods – crushed
  • 1 finger sized piece of fresh ginger – peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 orange – sliced
  • 1 Earl Grey teabag
METHOD
  1. Place all ingredients in a large non-reactive saucepan
  2. Simmer for 40 minutes – do not boil
  3. Strain and serve warm in a glass suitable for hot drinks
  4. Garnish with a slice of orange
