There’s something special about autumn…

Autumn calls for cosy vibes and food that nourishes you, body and soul. We have three new seasonal specials for you to try for a limited time from the 14th to the 27th October inclusive which celebrate autumn in all its golden glory. 

To start, try our classic terrine jambon persillé with prune chutney. The savoury flavours of the terrine pair beautifully with the sweetness of the prunes whilst the pickles on the side add a moreish crunch. We serve it with toasted sourdough bread so you can pile up the terrine and tuck in. 

For our mains special we have a classically French boeuf Lyonnaise. Pan-seared to lock in flavour and then slow-cooked for tenderness, the meat melts in the mouth. Served with a Lyonnaise sauce with caramelised onions as its base, this dish comes with parsnip mash, horseradish creamed onions and is topped with parsnip crisps. This dish is truly a labour of love for our chefs with every element cooked from scratch in our kitchens. 

With pears still in season, our dessert showcases them at their very best. Lightly poached and served with a butterscotch sauce with hints of lime and ginger we finish this dish off with a light, buttery sable biscuit and a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream.
