Straight from the cherry tree…

A perfectly ripe and juicy cherry is a thing of beauty to behold (and taste). With a complex flavour profile ranging from super sweet to extremely tart, we love how much versatility the cherry provides.

Our executive chef, Clive Fretwell has masterfully woven the humble fruit throughout all three courses of our seasonal set menu.To start, enjoy creamy goat’s curd with a touch of citrus which excellently complements our delicately pickled cherries. Follow this with our slow-roasted duck leg on a bed of curly endive salad and sauté potatoes, brought to life with our zingy home-made cherry vinaigrette. Finish with our twist on a classic – Kirsch-soaked cherries alongside Bramley apple compote topped with frosted almonds. Enjoy two home-cooked courses from £11.95 this month*.
