In 2026, Brasserie Blanc celebrated 30 years of soulful French dining, warm hospitality and unforgettable moments shared around the table.
From our very first brasserie in Oxford to all of our brasseries across the UK today, it has been an extraordinary journey shaped by passionate teams, loyal guests and the timeless joy of bringing people together through great food.

1996-2026
1996
THE STAR IS BORN
The dream becomes a reality. Raymond Blanc opens Le Petit Blanc in Oxford. In its debut year, it was named one of the top ten restaurants in the UK.
2006
THE EVOLUTION TO
BRASSERIE BLANC
A new chapter begins. We rebrand to Brasserie Blanc, capturing the essence of relaxed, authentic dining. Our family begins to grow, bringing authentic French food to cities across the UK.
2010s
SITE GROWTH
From one landmark site in Oxford to a family of 13 brasseries nationwide, spanning from the historic streets of Chichester to the vibrant Southbank of London.
2023
THE THREE-STAR STANDARD
Brasserie Blanc is awarded the 3-Star ‘Food Made Good’ rating from the Sustainable Restaurant Association. It is the highest possible accolade, proving that great food can delight both the palate and the planet.
2026
30 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE
We celebrate three decades of convivialité. Today, Brasserie Blanc holds a unanimous 5-star Food Hygiene rating across all of our sites; a testament to the skill and dedication of our teams.
This excellence is delivered annually to 250,000 bookings, sharing our passion for authentic French cuisine in all of our sites across the country.

We continue our tradition as a place of learning through our dedicated internal progression scheme. It carries forward the mentorship philosophy that has seen Raymond produce 26 Michelin-starred protégés, applying those same high standards of talent development to our teams and influencing the excellence found at every level of our business.

30 Years of Brasserie Blanc
Our brasseries across the nation burst into life for a month of festivities. It was a sincere honour to welcome so many of our loyal locals, the heartbeat of our business, to celebrate three decades of fine food and French flair.
Come with us and relive the highlights, from balloon arches and live jazz to a croquembouche that stopped the room.
Our Celebrations Kicked Off on the Southbank
It all began on 4th June 2026, when Brasserie Blanc Southbank was transformed for a magical anniversary evening.
Live jazz from Oriana and the Charmers set an elegant tone for a curated four course menu, and the night ended with a bespoke Brasserie Blanc croquembouche, glowing with sparklers as the whole room sang happy birthday.
Raymond and Chef Manoj Prasad shared some heartfelt words of gratitude, and every guest left with a bounty filled gift bag of treats from our long-standing suppliers.
Nationwide Celebrations One Shared Table
A week later, on the 11th of June, the party spread to every corner of the country.
Balloon arches, live music and our signature joie de vivre filled every brasserie, with celebratory pricing on Champagne Lanson and a Cointreau Spritz toast to mark the day.
The festivities were particularly poignant at Brasserie Blanc Oxford, where Raymond Blanc joined us, sharing fond stories of where it all began.
Brasserie Blanc Leeds marked a spectacular double celebration too, not only toasting the brand’s 30th year, but also the site’s own 20th anniversary.
Here’s To The Next Chapter
Thirty years on and, if anything, we are more full of joie de vivre than ever. The candles have been blown out and the balloon arches packed away, but the spirit that has carried us since 1996 burns just as brightly.
Our promise to you remains exactly the same as it was on day one: fresh, seasonal French cooking, served with warmth, care and a genuine welcome at every table. That is what has brought guests back to us for three decades and it is what will carry us through the next thirty years and many, many more.
