Drive to BB Oxford for free!
We know the introduction of the new Oxford congestion scheme might feel a little confusing so we wanted to reassure you that it’s very much business as usual and you can still drive directly to us without incurring the charge. Below is our guide on how you can drive to BB Oxford for free but also all the other options available should you choose to travel to us by alternative means.
The good news is that the new charge operates via six fixed charging points, not a full zone. This means that by approaching Jericho via the Woodstock Road or Banbury Road, you completely avoid all the charge points. You can drive straight to us without paying a penny!
If you’re joining us for dinner from 7:30 pm onwards, you can drive through the charging points without needing a permit or paying the £5 fee. The charge only operates between 7am and 7pm daily, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the evening. Marston Ferry Road and Hollow Way only charge during rush hours (7:00am–9:00 am and 3:00–6:00 pm), so they are easily avoided outside those times too. Street parking is available whilst Walton Well pay and display car park is just a short stroll away.
If you decide to leave the car at home, transport options are plentiful! You can cycle, walk or hop in a taxi. The Pear Tree Park & Ride is also very convenient, with the bus stopping just a five-minute walk from the brasserie.
Whether you are joining us for a business lunch, catch up with friends or a celebration, we look forward to welcoming you soon for delicious food, a glass of something lovely and the welcoming Brasserie Blanc experience you know and love! Take a look at our menus here and plan your next visit!
(P.S. For those who need it: If you do require a permit, Oxford City Council is offering local residents free day permits—up to 100 permits for Oxford City residents and 25 permits for Oxfordshire residents. You can pay the £5 charge quickly and easily here: https://oxfordshire-congestion.zatpermit.com/app)
