Our Winter Seafood Platter, the Plateau de Fruits de Mer d’hiver, arrives at Brasserie Blanc Portsmouth on Thursday 5th November 2026 and stays with us until 28th February 2027. A whole lobster Thermidor sits at its heart, surrounded by langoustines, king prawns and mussels, from 12pm, Monday to Saturday.

Our Summer Seafood Platter was such a hit in Portsmouth that we couldn’t let it go, so we’ve given it a winter makeover. Here you’ll find what’s on the platter, when you can enjoy it and how to book your table.

What is the Winter Seafood Platter at Brasserie Blanc Portsmouth?

The Winter Seafood Platter is a generous feast from the sea, made for sharing. It brings the best of the coast together in one beautiful dish, piled high and brought to your table.

This is food to take your time over. Crack a claw, pass the langoustines across the table and let a long, lazy lunch or a cosy winter evening unfold. C’est magique.

What’s on the seafood platter?

Your platter is built around a whole lobster Thermidor, rich and golden. Around it, you’ll find:

• Four langoustines
• Four butterflied king prawns with garlic oil
• Steaming mussels with shallots, thyme and parsley
• Samphire, garlic croutons and charred lemon
• A double portion of fries

It doesn’t end here. The croutons are there for every last drop of sauce, while the samphire brings a fresh, salty snap that tastes of the seaside. Squeeze over the charred lemon, reach for the fries and you have a cocktail of colours and tastes that is a joy to share.

When can you enjoy the Winter Seafood Platter?

The platter is available from 12pm, Monday to Saturday, from Thursday 5th November 2026. It takes a short break while our Christmas menu is on, so there are two windows to enjoy it.

You can order it until 25th November 2026, then look out for its return on Tuesday 5th January 2027. From then, it stays with us until 28th February 2027, so there is plenty of time to bring the winter blues to the table.

How to book your Winter Seafood Platter

Booking is simple. Just call Brasserie Blanc Portsmouth directly on 023 9289 1320 to reserve your platter. A £20 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your place.

From Monday to Thursday, the platter is available by pre-order only, so let our team know when you call. On Friday and Saturday, it is available subject to availability, so calling ahead is the best way to make sure one is waiting for you.
