On Monday evenings this June we offer you the chance to sneak away & treat yourself. Join us for a deliciously seasonal two course meal & a glass of wine,served from 7pm, followed by a classic or contemporary French Film in our Secret Cinema Club for only £20. Space is limited so booking is essential.
Films are chosen from French language films, or iconic films with French directors or actors, and occasionally great films that are simply set in France. If you have any suggestions please feel free to give them to us as well.

Monday 30th May
‘The French Connection’
New York city detectives @Popeye@ Doyle (Gene Hackman) and Buddy Russo (Roy Scheider) hope to break a narcotics smuggling ring and ultimately uncover The French Connection.
Based on a true story, this action-filled thriller, with it’s renowned chase scene, won five Academy Awards in 1971, including Best Picture, Best Director (William Friedkin) and Best Actor for Hackman.

Micmacs is a 2009 comedy by French Director Jean-Pierre Jeunet (Amelie).
Lonely Misfit Bazil (Danny Boon), who after being accidentally injured in a shoot-out, is adopted be a band of other misfits. Together they hatch a plan to take on a band of arms-manufacturers. This film is an exhilarating bag of tricks and not one to be missed
