Serves 4

Cherries are a brilliantly versatile fruit and are blossoming at this time of year. Instead of opting for a dessert recipe, why not showcase the beautiful blend of sweet & sour flavours with this wonderful cherry vinaigrette recipe – perfect for perking up meat-based salads.

  1. Put half of your cherries (30g) to the side. Add all remaining ingredients into a blender. Blend until your dressing looks like a fairly smooth liquid.
  2. Finely chop the remaining cherries and add these to the liquefied dressing. Mix well.
  3. Add to your prepared salad and enjoy!
  4. If storing, your dressing will last for a couple of weeks in an airtight container in the fridge.
