Dear old Raymond hasn't let us down yet, it's good value, and the French do seem to know how to cook their steak

THE FRIARY BUILDING
BRISTOL BS1 3DF
0117 910 2410
We have been refreshed and our stunning Grade 1 listed building in the heart of Quakers Friars has a beautiful new look. With an amazing new terrace dining area complete with al fresco bar you can sit and watch the world go by, take a break from shopping or treat yourself to a post-work or pre-theatre drink or bite to eat. Inside we have brought this former Quaker meeting hall to life with a muted palette of heritage tones and simple, functional but beautiful furniture, including vintage pieces, hand painted artwork and bespoke ceramics.
Enjoy our deliciously seasonal modern & classic French fare every day for lunch, dinner or everything in between. Or just join friends at our fabulous new cocktail bar, or at the 8 seater cheese and wine table.
And for banqueting, events & parties you would be hard pressed to find more spectacular central venues than Bakers & Cutlers, our 13th century monastery halls, or ask for the Calefactory – our private dining room which can host 10 – 40 people.
We can’t wait to welcome you ‘chez nous’ to show you our new look. Please pop in to see what’s changed.
